About us

Unpaid invoices shouldn’t be the reason your business suffers.

We specialise in one thing, debt recovery. Based in Auckland and servicing all of New Zealand, we work with small to medium-sized businesses that are tired of chasing payments and getting nowhere. Whether it’s a single overdue invoice or a string of unpaid accounts, we know how to act swiftly and effectively to get results.

We’re not a general practice law firm that dabbles in debt recovery. We are a specialist litigation firm. That means we understand the pressure unpaid debts put on cash flow, the stress of being ignored, and the need for clear, strategic action. We combine legal expertise with a practical, no-nonsense approach designed to resolve matters quickly – without dragging you into costly litigation unless absolutely necessary.

Let us handle the stress of recovery, so you can focus on running your business.

How we work

We follow a 3-step approach

01

Free consult

We assess your matter and give you a clear plan forward — no obligation, no pressure.

02

Legal Advice

We advise you on the most effective legal path, whether it’s a letter of demand, court action, or formal enforcement.

03

Execution

We handle the legal process from start to finish — chasing the debt, enforcing judgments, or initiating bankruptcy or liquidation.

Why choose us over a debt collection agency ?

Many businesses turn to debt collectors first, only to discover their limitations. Here is what you need to know:

Debt collectors cannot represent you in court.

If legal action is required, they must refer the case to a lawyer. You will then need to pay the lawyer’s fees in addition to the collection costs.

Debt collectors only take cases they believe they can recover.

If the case is difficult or the debtor, most debt collectors will not proceed. Their focus is volume and make fast commission.

Debt Collectors take a significant cut

Most debt collection agencies charge a commission of 25 percent to 45 percent of the recovered amount. This is on top of any legal fees if a lawyer becomes involved.

From overdue invoices, unpaid rent or any other unpaid debt, we stand up for SMEs and ensure they get paid.
