How much do your services cost?
We offer fixed-fee packages for most debt recovery matters. That means no surprises or hidden charges. Our fees are often the same or less than what debt collectors charge — without the commission. We also offer no collection, no fee basis for some matters. This is on a case by case basis.
How are you different from debt collectors?
Debt collectors can’t take legal action — they refer your matter to a lawyer, and you pay for that too. We are lawyers, so we can handle the full recovery process from start to finish. You keep more of what you’re owed, and we act even if the case is difficult.
What happens if the debtor refuses to pay?
If payment is not made after our initial demand, we can escalate the matter to court, enforcement, bankruptcy, or liquidation — whatever is appropriate. You’ll get clear advice on your options and costs at every stage.
Do you work with clients outside Auckland?
Yes. We act for businesses across New Zealand. Everything can be handled online or over the phone, so you don’t need to be local to get expert help.
Can you help with construction payment claims?
Absolutely. We act for tradespeople, subcontractors, and contractors in recovering payment claims under the Construction Contracts Act. We can assist with issuing valid claims, enforcing rights, or commencing adjudication.

Can I recover legal costs from the debtor?
It depends. If there’s a written contract that allows recovery of costs, or if the matter goes to court and you succeed, you can usually claim a portion of your legal costs. We will advise you about your chances of recovering costs before you commit to anything.
What if I don’t have a formal contract ?
A signed contract helps, but it’s not essential. If there’s evidence of the work done, services provided, or invoices issued, we may still be able to act. We’ll assess this during your free consultation.
Can you help enforce an existing court judgment?
Yes. If you already have a judgment but the debtor has not paid, we can help with enforcement options such as charging orders, wage deductions, or seizure of assets.
